Main Stope Gallery Sketchbook

The sketchbook consists of 71 digital images of sketches done over a period of two years within the interior of the Main Stope Gallery in Butte Montana. They are layed out in sequence with dates given within the body of each sketch. Toni Seccomb, a fellow member of the Main Stope, contributed one on page 31. I did the remaining 70. Lauretta Bonfiglio, another member, added small red circles to the one's she likes the best. In going through the sequence there are some sketches that I may be well advised to have eliminated. Some artists would not hesitate to do this because no one is at the top of their game each and every sketching session. I have chosen not to do this, however, because the kind of people I wish to attract to my work are those who have the right to know me for who I am. That is not always perfect, but always striving to improve. It was the process of doing these sketches that was directed toward that end.
